Lansea graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s of Occupational Therapy and has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan. She initially started her career as an Occupational Therapist in brain injury, mental health and physical rehabilitation units with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. She then started specializing in hand & wrist rehabilitation and now has over 10 years in upper extremity rehabilitation experience. She has advanced training in hand rehabilitation and continues to update her knowledge and skills with regular training, locally and abroad. She has ErgoScience Functional Capacity Evaluation certification, has completed multiple permanent functional impairment assessments, pre-employment screens and has created multiple functional conditioning programs throughout her career.

In addition to being the founder of Traction Consulting & Therapy, Lansea continues to work in both public health and private practice settings, locally, throughout Saskatchewan and within northern communities. Her private contractor work consists of home, ergonomic, yard, and cognitive assessments, along with return-to-work plans and upper extremity home programs. Lansea also occasionally works in schools and caregiver homes, assisting children with fine, gross motor, sensory integration strategies and visual perceptual skills.

Outside of Lansea’s work life, she enjoys staying active with backcountry snowboarding, competing in triathlons, spending time outdoors and traveling to new places.

Loreen graduated from the U of S College of Kinesiology in 2013, and went onto complete her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2015 from the U of A. She has been working in the area of hand therapy & rehabilitation for the past 10 years and has experience treating a wide variety of upper extremity injuries. Loreen has taken many advanced hand therapy courses over the years to expand her knowledge in this specialized area of care. She continues to be committed to ongoing education in the field.

Loreen loves connecting with people and bringing positivity to her work as an Occupational Therapist. She’s dedicated to helping clients reach their goals and get back to doing the things they love after their upper extremity injuries. Loreen understands every client is unique and customizes each session to meet their individual needs.

Loreen also enjoys being active, baking, & spending time with her family and two young kids who keep her busy.
